Double Room in Wapping: Available May-September

Hi! We have a large double room available in our house in Wapping. I am moving abroad so am looking for a girl, aged 24-29, to take over the rest of my tenancy which runs from May-September.

It’s a great house, with a garden (great for summer), big kitchen and a separate living room! We also have a loft space which we share between us for working from home and storing things like suitcases.
The room itself is the biggest in the house, and comes furnished with a bed and desk. (The other furniture is mine, but I’d be happy to negotiate if you’d be potentially interested in buying anything!)

The location is fab - it’s a 10 min walk from the overground, 13 mins from Shadwell (DLR) and 15 mins from Tower Hill (circle/district lines). You can get to Bank and London Bridge (walking), Canary Wharf and Stratford (public transport) within 30 mins, so it’s super convenient for commuting!
We are less than a ten minute walk from St Katherine’s docks for restaurants and there are loads of great pubs close by! We have a big Waitrose a five min walk from the house, plus a couple of small Sainsbury’s within a 10 min walk. The huge Tesco at Surrey Quays is only 20 mins away via the overground.

The housemates are two boys and a girl aged between 26 and 28: Chloe and Tom, who are friends from uni, and Peter, who is Tom’s friend from home. We are all friendly, clean and respectful, and enjoy going to the pub, to the gym or for a run and movie/game nights in our free time. Everyone works on a hybrid basis, with generally 2 days a week from home.
We’ve lived together for 1.5 years now and everyone genuinely gets on and enjoys hanging out together, so it’d be great to find someone that fits into the house well! We are ideally looking for a girl (so we can keep the balance in the house), aged between 24-29.

You would formally take over the remainder of the tenancy through the estate agents! The contract is from 12th of the month, but it’s likely you’d be able to move in a week before then. Bills currently come to around £95 per month.
