Description
ROOM 1
A nice, cozy double room is available from the 31st of October 2025
The room comes with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bathroom is a 'Jack and Jill' style shared with one other housemate.
ROOM 2
A nice double room is available from the 31st of October 2025. Two doors of closet space, and two windows with loads of natural light. There is a bathroom right next to the room (bigger than the photos suggest) shared with only one other. The two other housemates share their own bathroom, making mornings SO EASY.
The house itself is BIG. The amount of shared space is pretty unique for London, particularly given the zone 1 location. On the ground floor, we have a large open-plan living room/dining room, a very spacious kitchen, and a small utility. There is also a small backyard ideal for bike storage. On the third floor, we have a massive second living room - a second space to watch films with friends, or work out. Finally, the cherry on top is a split-level roof terrace with amazing views of the city, which we all regularly take advantage of. And the perfect spot for NYE.
LOCATION
We are a 5-minute walk from both Waterloo station and Lambeth North tube. You can walk to the river in 10 minutes and Covent Garden in 20. The perfect location to commute to any part of London, and to easily get home from a night out.
HOUSEMATES
We're a friendly lot. Two professionals; one in consultancy, one and one in engineering startup. The motto in our house is it should be fun and easy to live here. We regularly cook together, sit down to watch a box set, and work out together. At the same time, the size of the place means we're not stuck in each other's pockets, if you want time to yourself.
We're looking for someone who understands the flexible life you have with a houseshare. We're all very considerate towards each other, especially with the "new normal" and WFH. Friends are always welcome, so long as consideration is shown to our neighbours.
THE BORING BITS
We rent directly from the landlord, who's pretty relaxed. He will require references from employer, previous landlord and deposit; the usual. Bills (the standard stuff, plus a cleaner every fortnight) are the tenants' responsibility, which we all share equally (approx £250 pcm).
