My flatmate has just moved out as he's bought somewhere himself, so I have a great, spacious double room available in Zone 1!
The room itself is a great size and comes with a double bed, desk/dressing table, and loads of storage space (good sized wardrobe plus build in wardrobe & shelf space). The rest of the flat has a good sized living room with a small balcony which is great to sit out on in the summer, decent sized kitchen with all amenities including washer/dryer & microwave, a recently refurbished bathroom with good pressured shower, and a separate toilet. Total cost is £1500 per month covering everything (broadband, gas, electric, water, Council Tax, a cleaner every two weeks, & some communal bits like toilet paper / laundry detergent etc.).
The flat is in a quiet, mainly residential area but a super central location - only 5mins walk to Southwark station, 7mins walk to Waterloo, and less than 15mins to Southbank.
I'm the existing flatmate - 31 years old, working professional, in the office Tues-Thurs and wfh Mon and Fri. I'm sociable but also like spending evenings on the sofa gaming / watching TV, and got on very well with my previous flatmate (who was also a SpareRoom find!).
I've said pets are okay but unfortunately the building doesn't allow dogs, so it would be cats only & on a case by case basis - I don't have any pets myself yet, but I do love them!
Ideally I'm looking for someone who is also a working professional of a similar age, who goes into the office sometimes, I get on well with, is friendly, chilled, and clean, & who wants to sit and watch TV sometimes, but who also has their own social life so we're not both all over each other too much!
The room is available immediately and I want to get someone in soon, but I do want to make sure the person who moves in is someone I get on well with & will be a good fit too 😊
I can do viewings any time outside of working hours, or Mondays & Fridays can be arranged around whatever meetings I have while I wfh, so please feel free to reach out with any questions and I'm sure we can get something arranged.
