Description

Hi! I'm the current tenant moving out and looking for someone to take my room. The room is a double, and so couples are encouraged to split the cost, and it's definitely enough space for two, and more than enough for one person. The flat itself is gorgeous and spacious. We're right on Lower Marsh, so you've got your pick of great cafes and pubs, as well as the Lower Marsh market, which sets up booths down the street. Waterloo station is also probably a minute or so walk away; it's immediately across from the flat, so the location is ideal for any commuters.
I put no for furnished, because I'll be taking all my stuff with me when I move, as you see in the photos, but the bed, bedside tables, and desk will all be included. There's also a full wall of cabinets and closet storage built into the wall, so LOTS of storage space. The rocking chair, standup mirror, circle mirrors, shelving unit, and clothes rack I'd also be willing to sell (maybe 100 for the lot) and leave for you, if the room ends up getting let to someone with similar furnishing tastes to me, as I won't be able to bring those things with me.
Large living room, large shared bathroom, nice kitchen with pretty new appliances. You can also see the London Eye from the living room/kitchen so that's really nice. Obviously super close to the Thames and South Bank, so there's lots of nightlife, shops, restaurants, etc, super close by. And being right by Waterloo Station, you can easily commute anywhere else in the city.
I'll be leaving around December, my lease technically ends January 15th but I'm planning on leaving earlier to see my family for the holidays, so the room will likely be available from the start of January, and worst case, from the 15th, guaranteed. My flatmate Zak will still be living here, in the single room, and he's a very easygoing and responsible roommate, and we've had no issues in our time living together. He's fairly social, while I'm pretty asocial, and he's been lovely and respectful with my space, so if you're also a bit introverted, or if you are a social butterfly, you'll get along great.
An ideal tenant (or tenants) will be tidy, responsible, and looking to make this flat into a home.
