We're two young professionals, 26 and 27, looking for a third housemate. One of us is British, the other Swiss, and we both grew up going to international schools, so the flat's a pretty international mix. Sociable but not a party flat: weekdays are quiet since we both keep busy, and we game together or head out for drinks most weekends.
The flat is 86 sqm, two minutes from Lambeth North (Bakerloo) and about ten from Waterloo. Kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine, and there's a shared rooftop via ladder access, which is where we end up on sunny days.
Location is the real selling point. You're a short walk from the Thames, the London Eye and the whole South Bank stretch, so the riverside bars and outdoor terraces are effectively your local. Co-op and Sainsbury's a minute away, plus restaurants, cafés and gyms within ten.
The room is on the smaller side but bright, and comes furnished with a double bed and wardrobe. Our current housemate is happy to sell her desk and chair cheap if you want them.
