Effectively looking for a lodger for an initial 6-month period.

Someone mature, clean, reliable and trustworthy that will treat the place like a home. You will be living with a couple that travel often. I work overseas in fintech and my partner works in the airline industry so for the vast majority of the time you will have the property to yourself. So the property is priced to reflect a lodging in a well maintained one bedroom flat. We’re both sociable with different interests usually revolving around the outdoors and activities.

The flat is set on the ground floor of a large semi-detached Edwardian house retaining its own original entrance hall, private driveway (owned by myself), front and rear gardens giving us a larger than average flat that feels more like a house. The room itself is a furnished bright airy double bedroom with French doors leading onto a private garden. During the summers there is a coal barbecue and you can pick your own apples to eat from the tree.

The flat is over by Ealing Common/West Acton and here is a summary of what is nearby:

-Ealing Broadway (Central line): Walkable but 10 minutes w train from W Acton or bus
-West Acton (Central line): 10 minute walk
-Ealing Common (Piccadilly and District line): 10 minutes
-Chiswick: One stop from Ealing common or 30 minutes using a bus that is a 1 minute walk from the flat.
-Gym: 10 minute walk (£20p/m with no contract)
-Local stores (local shops, Tesco metro ― 5 mins, Morrison’s ― 15 mins)
-Heathrow (40 minutes by train)
-Lots of restaurants and bars in Ealing Broadway and a few good local eats particularly near Churchfield Road.

£1,300pcm including all bills.

To note:
-The room has a laundry room located beside it. So although your privacy will be respected, it may be necessary to get laundry in/out from time to time.
-The room has a large wardrobe and clothing drawers, additional storage can be made available. A TV can also be included in the room.
-There is driveway space for an additional car
-Broadband, Virgin media, fully equipped kitchen and all other mod cons within the flat.
-A cleaner can be included at approx. £30 per clean
-Bills are included, but if they jump significantly (not expected) then may ask for a share of the extra.
-The property is a converted house with one flat above and with similar properties of this age, it has the odd creak and squeak.
-No DSS or criminal record
-Occupation or full time student is OK
-You will probably need to include your own contents insurance
-References will be required
-We can discuss specifics but this is offered as a lodging agreement
