Description
Hi! I am looking for a friendly flatmate to share my 2-bed top floor flat on the Hanger Hill estate. It’s a peaceful, tree-lined residential area but with brilliant transport links and everything you need nearby.
The room:
It is a double bedroom with plenty of space, comes furnished with a comfy double bed, desk (perfect for WFH), drawers, and bookcase. The room gets good natural light and overlooks the communal gardens below.
The flat:
It is a modern top floor flat in a block of 6 flats in the building. The flat has the following amenities:
- Spacious shared lounge/dining room
- Fully-fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer
- 1 bathroom with 2 separate toilets
- Lovely shared garden
- Outdoor shed for bike storage
- Permit parking right outside if you drive
Location & Transport:
Perfectly positioned between West Acton (Central line) and North Ealing (Piccadilly line) stations - both about 5 minute walk.
Potential routes:
- 25 minutes to Oxford Circus
- Easy access to Elizabeth line via Ealing Broadway
- Multiple bus routes to Acton High Street and Ealing
- An easy run into town or out to Heathrow
The Local area:
- Waitrose petrol station - 5 minutes walk
- Local cafes and a pub which is also 5 minutes away
- Ealing Broadway is either a 15 min walk or 1 stop on the tube (M&S, Boots, loads of restaurants, bars, cinema, gym)
- Ealing Common - 15 min walk (gorgeous park with a fantastic gastropub)
- Westfield White City - 15 mins on the Central line
- Honestly, the area’s brilliant - residential and quiet but you’re never far from anything
Rent and deposit:
Rent is £1,100 pcm with bills not included (typically around £210pm per person for council tax, utilities and broadband). The deposit is £1,270 which equates to 5 weeks worth of rent.
Who I am:
I’m a teacher and have been living here just over a year and absolutely love it. During term time I’m up early and work long hours, but I’m pretty relaxed at home. It is important to me to keep the place clean and tidy and like having the odd chat in the kitchen or watch a movie together when having dinner.
Weekends I’m sociable - love meeting friends for wine, pub quizzes, comedy nights, maybe a wander round the shops. Happy to have flatmate drinks together or do our own thing - whatever works!
I’m looking for someone who is reliable, keeps shared spaces tidy, and is looking for a proper home rather than just a room. Someone sociable but respectful - happy to hang out sometimes but also comfortable doing our own thing.
The flat is available immediately (or from whenever suits you in the next few weeks)
If this sounds like a good fit, drop me a message! Happy to arrange viewings this week or weekend - I’m pretty flexible. Tell me a bit about yourself and what you’re looking for.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
