Description
A beautiful large double room in a big Victorian house with a large garden in Dulwich.
The room is at the front of the house and has plenty of space! Yep big windows plus a (non-working) but beautiful fireplace. We have a large living room, back room for working in, kitchen with dining table, so there's plenty of space still! All bills are also included in the rent price, along with a house Netflix account and a weekly cleaner (I know - an absolute bargain)!
The rest of the house is also very spacious, featuring a large kitchen diner which backs onto the garden, a large sitting room with bay window, open working fireplace, and partition doors which open up to the second reception room (currently set up as a home office) which has french doors out to the garden. The house benefits from 2 bathrooms and a third separate loo.
As a house, we are all super friendly and get on really well. On weekdays you can usually find us cooking, or chilling out watching TV together. We like to go to the pub together every now and then, even partaking in the local pub quiz (and actually I hosted a quiz recently!). We all have our own lives and friends too, but enjoy one another's company. We'd like to find someone who would fit in with this nicely. We also have our other housemate, Frank the cat 🐈
The area:
We are just around the corner from Gipsy Hill, which has a couple of convenience shops, a pub, a chippy, a cafe etc. The Gipsy Hill station is about a 10 min walk away, with trains to London Bridge and London Victoria. It's only about a 15 min walk to Crystal Palace, or there is a bus stop just outside the house (bus No.3) taking you up to Crystal Palace or the other way (through Herne Hill and Brixton) to Westminster. Down the road, the other way, is West Dulwich with a Tesco Express, a little bakery, a garden centre and a book shop. Further down the road is Herne Hill with a train station, plenty of pubs and shops and Brockwell park! It's about a 30-40 minute cycle to London bridge (depending how fast you cycle!)
If you think you'd be a good fit send me a message with a bit about yourself!
Isabel.
