The landlord family live on the first and second floor of this mid century terraced town house in a popular leafy private road in a safe, quiet, residential area. The community are friendly.

We own a dog (Labrador) who is very friendly and lives on the upper floors of the house. If you like dogs, he would love to meet you!

You will be living on the ground floor with your own bathroom and kitchen so have a lot of privacy. However, it is a room in a house not a 1 bed flat. We are fairly quiet but you will hear us and we come and go from the ground floor front door, and use the shared laundry facilities.

We are welcoming and relaxed household who are happy to get to know you.

The property is a 5 minute easy walking distance from West Dulwich station (trains to Victoria 12 mins/Bromley shopping centre) and Tulse Hill (trains to London Bridge, Thameslink to Blackfriars and London Bridge etc)

It's a 10 min walk to Herne Hill or a bus ride [number 3].
Brixton tube station [zone 2] is a short bus ride away [number 3].

The 201 bus route that heads to Streatham in the west, and East Dulwich in the other direction, is just around the corner.

The area is very green and peaceful, and boasts lovely parks and amenities such as a variety of cafes, pubs, cinemas, libraries, shops and services. There is a sports centre within a 10 minute walk or 5 minute cycle ride, and an art gallery [Dulwich Picture Gallery] also very close by. Brockwell park with its annual music festival and open air Lido swimming pool are a short walk away.

Bills - gas heating, electricity, water and council tax (Band D) are additional and charged at approx £100 per month.

A weekly or bi monthly cleaner can be arranged. at an additional charge.

Free parking is available on request [it is a private and quiet road with very little through traffic].

Single occupancy only. No couples.

This is a no smoking, no vaping property.

Deposit required: 5 weeks plus a £90 fee for cleaning on expiry of the tenancy.
