Spacious double room with en-suite in a lovely flat in West Dulwich (SE21) above a block of shops. The rest of the flat is comfortable and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen+living room and TV. Plenty of supermarkets, parks and tennis courts nearby! Transport is excellent with trains into the city from West Dulwich (10min walk), Tulse Hill (12min walk) or West Norwood (15min walk) all taking less than 20mins, and access to Brixton (Victoria line) tube only 2 stops from West Dulwich. Bus services are also good, including a 24hr bus 5min walk away (N3). No garden, but plenty of parks nearby (Bel Air, Brockwell and Dulwich parks), space for a bike, and some extra storage but not much. The area has lots of restaurants and cafes - in fact the block we live on has a barber, pizza cafe, Sicilian deli, organic supermarket, cafe and more, and Norwood High St with even more only 10min walk away! Haddi, our exiting housemate, is also looking to sell her furniture in the room, which would be perfect for those coming from a furnished flat.
My boyfriend Turrell (29) and I (35) are looking for a friendly, tidy and respectful person (ideally aged 25-40) to take over this room and to create a lovely home together. We’re both musicians (I’m a freelance cellist and he’s a West End performer). We enjoy gaming, cooking, music, art, exercise and travel, as well as all that London has to offer! I’m an Aussie and Turrell is a Londoner born and raised.
