Description
Hi,
I have a cute double room available in a 2/3 bed houseshare: 4 mins from West Ealing station - crossrail + amazing parks + Ealing Broadway life 15 mins away.
The room is furnished with a double bed and mattress [with storage under it] a built in single wardrobe and a kallax. It gets lots of lovely sunshine and is facing the garden so pretty quiet. An additional clothes rail is also available - just needs to be assembled!
The room is in a 3-bed terraced house to share with one other person [me!]. There is a good sized bathroom, living room, kitchen [although a bit outdated] downstairs loo, conservatory and garden [which is super super messy at the moment but it is on my to-do list this weekend!!] There is also a tiny box room that serves as a spare bedroom for an occasional friend or sibling! You will also have your own fridge/freezer and cupboard space.
You will be sub-letting from me for max 6 months as landlord is planning to put the house on the market as a whole property in the early next year [as a 3-bed for a family/group as opposed to for two people]. The Landlord is really decent - has recently replaced the washer/dryer, a new dishwasher is on the way and he plans to replace the hob and oven soon [they still work - just old]. He has fixed any issues really quickly and proactively.
The rent includes all bills and a fortnightly cleaner. I am open to getting a weekly cleaner but cost an extra £44 for each of us, per month so it's something to think about given the times.
I'm 30, born and raised in London so have a decent social life, always up for a chill hang on the sofa or somewhere out. During the week I have a gym/social schedule [this makes me sound a bit pedantic doesn't it!] but tend to be more relaxed during the weekend. I would like to relax with my housemate but there are also times when I will take 12 hours to get moving out of bed. It's a coin toss. I also am happily part of the LGBTQ+ community :)
I'm starting a new job mid-July and doing hybrid working so would ideally like someone who matches that to keep a nice balance in the house. Also someone who cleans up after themselves - key areas for me are bathroom and kitchen, no one wants to be working off a raw chicken stained counter!
In addition to me, you will be sharing with two cute fluffies - a Cockpoo and a Siberian cat. Remy, the dog is hypoallergenic and doesn't shed, and Tiny is less allergenic than other cats and sheds twice a year [currently in a shed right now!]. Both are really friendly and up for a cuddle but also have their own lives. To be aware - on the days I am at work, Remy has a walker who picks her up from the house, they have a key but are a fully licensed, security checked and insured company [Alphas Canine Care if you are wondering] and they also happen to be really lovely people in general :) They just wait in the hallway for the beast, harness her up and go on their way. On the way back they release her and let themselves out quietly.
There is a cat door towards the garden and the Tiny [the cat] has an automatic feeder - she is an independent business woman. The point I'm trying to make [badly!] is that my new housemate is not expected to do anything for the animals other than cuddle them [should you so choose].
If it sounds like you might fit, please get in touch and we can arrange a time for you to come round, have a look and a coffee! Viewings will be from Friday 1 July.
All the best
Alia
