Hey, I'm Tom, I have a good size double room available for rent in my flat in leafy West Ealing. (Whole 1st floor flat with no-one above, in a period semi-detached conversion.) The area and street are quiet and very friendly, and the property is a short walk from Ealing Broadway, West Ealing and Pitshanger stations and shops, with plenty of parks nearby too.
The room has a double bed, large wardrobe, bedside table and a black-out blind. There is a nice large window which has views onto trees and the old steeple of St Stephen's church. I'm happy for someone to bring extra bits of furniture and make the space their own if they want to. There is room for a desk, for example.
The flat has nice high ceilings with some original features. There is a sunny living-dining room with a large bay window and fireplace, spacious hallway, a bathroom with shower-over-bath, and a refurbished kitchen. The kitchen is on the small side, so this may not suit a very avid cook, but the essentials are all there including a slim dishwasher. There is a new Samsung washer-dryer in the flat as well. There is loft space to store suitcases etc. so you don’t need to worry about finding space in the bedroom. Most rooms are recently refurbished and decorated.
I’m looking to welcome someone friendly and down-to-earth to enjoy this flat and feel at home. Cleanliness and tidiness is important to me and you should be this kind of person too. I’m self-employed and work both in and out of the flat. I’m looking for someone who mostly works out of the flat, in the office, or equivalent (when they’re working, not all the time!) I may be getting a cat soon, so cat-friendly. No smokers or vapers as a personal preference, even if you only did so away from the flat, sorry!
