2 bright double bedrooms, West Finchley station

Move-in date by 30th of November, potentially earlier!

We are seeking an animal-loving flatmate (3 cats and 1 dog) to take over a double bedroom in our homely flatshare, a 5 minute walk to West Finchley Station (15 minutes to Camden Town).

The cheaper double bedroom is on the ground foor, it is bright and quiet. It comes furnished with a double mattress (bought last year and clean), desk, chair, bedside table, mirror, clothing rail and chest of drawers. The pictured textile wardrobe is not included but can be replaced with an actual wardrobe or clothing rails. Eerything but the mattress can be removed from the room if unfurnished is preferred.
The bedroom is the only bedroom on the ground floor and comes with the advantage of having the downstairs toilet & sink 90% of the times for yourself. :)

The upstairs double bedroom is on the first floor, it's also bright and quiet. It comes part furnished with desk, chair, big clothing rail with storage compartments, bedside table & mirror. It also has built-in storage, with plenty of space.
It comes with a mattress, less than a year old. It's in excellent condition due to mattress protectors.
Again, any furniture can be removed on request - besides the mattress. We are also happy to have an eye out for a bedframe if needed.

The house has a large living room, a kitchen, a sizable storage room and a large back garden with a terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped and we are happy to share utensils. There are 2 bathrooms upstairs and 1 toilet downstairs, so there are no queues. One bathroom comes with bathtub & shower and the other one with shower.

The storage room is also used as a clothes drying room, and there is a washing machine which also works as a drier, so there aren’t clothes drying in common areas. There is private parking and fast internet.
The house is on a quiet road, just a 3-minute walk from West Finchley station and a corner shop. It’s a 10-minute walk to the high street, which has a big Tesco, plenty of shops, and Victoria Park. There are also lovely walking paths and a forest nearby.
Short-term lets are considered.

Smoking is allowed but only outside.

Bills work out to around 115 gbp per month per person on top of rent.

**Who you’ll be sharing with: **

I’m Lara, German, and I work from home full-time in HR and video game localisation. I enjoy video games, making and listening to music, swimming, and board games.

The second housemate is Alex, British, he's a scientist who works hybrid and loves music, gaming, sports, and museums.

We currently have two rooms free, due to one housemate moving further down south and the other one returning to Canada.
In addition, there are 3 cats and a dog:

Mylo the dog, doesn't bark, loves a walk and loves playtime.
Bucky, tabby cat, is social and friendly. (Chubby).
Kaiser, black cat, is soft and purrs loudly. (Also chubby)
Hermann, black cat, is a soft and sneaky goblin. (Not chubby but will steal food and 10/10 times growl when you try to take it back)

All the pets are well-behaved, housetrained, and cuddly. The cats will only make a fuss around mealtime. We also have an electronic litter tray, so the house stays clean and fresh.

While we might consider additional small pets, we unfortunately can't accept cats and dogs at all.

**About the flatshare**

We are looking for someone who is neat, friendly and social to join our flatshare. If you are into TV shows, boardgames or gaming, you should feel at home here, as we have a large TV setup in the living room and plenty of new and old gaming consoles available to use! Also have a bunch of boardgames we can play together. The living room leads to the back garden where we like to have a BBQ on a sunny day.

We’re all sociable and enjoy chatting or hanging out but also respect each other’s space and boundaries. We're looking for a flatshare that will contribute to the friendly atmosphere of the flat.

We don’t have any preferences regarding gender, sexual orientation, or lifestyle, but we do expect kindness and respect for each other. Essential don't be a dick.
