Description
THE SUMMARY:
Rent:
Room 1: £770
Room 2: £780
Bills: approximately £115 (less in summer)
To apply, please send a small description about yourself, and your number/whatsapp to pass onto my current housemates. We are looking for someone to move in on or before 1st July! To be accepted you must be a professional and be able to supply payslips from the last few months. Our agent will not accept guarantors.
THE DETAILS:
My friend and I are leaving this beautiful semi-detached house to move in with our partners and to be closer to work. We are seeking two animal-loving flatmates (1 cat and 1 dog) to take two double bedrooms in a homely houseshare, a 5 minute walk to West Finchley Station (15 minutes to Camden Town).
Room 1: A light and airy double bedroom is downstairs on the ground floor. It has a bed, chest of drawers and clothes hanger.
Room 2: A west-facing upstairs bedroom with extra cupboard storage. It has a bed, hanging space and mirror.
The house has a living room, a kitchen, and a large back garden. The kitchen is well equipped and we are happy to share utensils. There are 2 bathrooms upstairs and 1 toilet downstairs, so there's never a queue! One bathroom comes with bathtub & shower and the other one with shower.
There is private parking out front, more on the street and fast broadband connection.
The house is on a quiet road, just a 5-minute walk from West Finchley station and a corner shop. It’s a 10-minute walk to the high street, which has a big Tesco, plenty of shops, and Victoria Park. There are also lovely walking paths and a forest nearby.
Smoking inside is not allowed, only outside.
Bills work out to around £115 per month per person on top of rent. This covers Council Tax, Water, Gas & Electricity and Broadband.
**Who you’ll be sharing with: **
Lara, a German who works from home full-time in HR and video game localisation and enjoys video games, making and listening to music, swimming, and board games!
Iestyn, a Welsh civil servant new to the city who loves reading, nights out and can’t dance to save his life.
In addition to the human housemates, there are also two furry companions (a cat and a dog):
- Mylo, an energetic sprocker spaniel dog, doesn't bark, loves a walk, playtime and is always trying to worm him way onto someone's lap for a cuddle!
- Bucky, a tabby cat, is social and friendly who loves hanging out with people!
Both pets are well-behaved, housetrained, and cuddly!
**About the flatshare**
We are looking for someone in their late twenties - mid thirties who is neat, friendly and social to join our flatshare. If you are into TV shows, boardgames or gaming, you should feel at home here. We have a bunch of boardgames we can play together and the living room leads to the back garden where we like to have a BBQ on a sunny day.
We’re all sociable and enjoy chatting or hanging out but also respect each other’s space and boundaries. We're looking for a flatshare that will contribute to the friendly atmosphere of the flat.
We don’t have any preferences regarding gender, sexual orientation, or lifestyle, but we do expect kindness and respect for each other.
If you are interested, please tell us a little bit about your experience with flatsharing, your lifestyle habits, and your availability for moving in. Looking forward to hearing from you!
