Description
We are a recently married couple looking for a flatmate to join us in our spacious 2 bedroom apartment. The flat is set over 2 floors with scenic city views from the living room balcony. A rolling 1-month contract offers complete flexibility.
We are a short walk from West Hampstead high street which is full of independent shops and restaurants. There is good access to central london via the Jubilee line and Thameslink trains.
We are looking for a Monday-Friday let, someone who is clean and tidy, friendly, chilled out, and up for hanging out sometimes. Phoebe is out the house during the day, Owen works from home about half the time. Our hobbies include travelling, cooking, listening to music, and socialising with friends.
Our home is across two floors, there is a lift to take you to the third floor. After you enter you will walk through the hallway to the living space (which leads onto our large balcony with views of London) and kitchen, then if you walk back into the hallway and down the stairs you will find the bedrooms, bathroom and toilet.
Your (fully furnished) bedroom is on your right facing the road and you will enjoy the evening sun. There is a small double bed, this is slightly smaller than a standard sized double. Large windows let plenty of light in, but blackout curtains ensure the room stays dark while you are sleeping. The mattress is a ‘Emma’ memory foam mattress which is less than a year old. Inside the room is a full sized desk with chair and lamp suitable for home working. There is ample storage for your belongings with a large integrated wardrobe, chest of drawers and storage cupboard.
The block is very secure as an electronic keytag is required to enter the building, followed by a key lock on the front door. There is also a lock on the inside of your bedroom.
The shared bathroom (including a bath and overhead shower) and toilet are next door to your bedroom.
Our kitchen is fully equipped, you are welcome to use the kitchen freely, we just ask that you clear up after yourself. You’ll have full access to the living space to use freely.
Other amenities for your use include: bed linen and towels, washing machine and drying racks, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, TV and fast WiFi.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. The road is not too busy, but you will be able to hear typical traffic noises, along with the sounds of trains, so if this should be a problem, we would suggest a different listing would be better for you.
2. As we live in a flat, please keep the noise down after 10:00pm at night, to be considerate to us and our neighbours.
3. There is a rabbit at the property who lives in the lounge. If you are allergic to rabbits or would prefer a pet-free home, we would recommend a different listing.
4. At some point in the next few months the block is scheduled to have all the windows replaced. If you are staying with us during this time, we can discuss a 25% rent reduction due to the disruption this may cause.
