Hello,

We are looking for a single professional aged 23+ to join our lovely West Kensington terrace home of 3 (including you!). The room has a decent sized wardrobe and can either be furnished with a double bed & mattress or unfurnished (the spare bed is currently in storage so isn’t shown in the photos). The house is split over the top 3 floors of the building so there’s plenty of space to have some quiet time even when everyone is home, and it never feels crowded. The highlight of the house is the open plan living room/dining room area which is huge with 4 metre high ceilings and south facing windows, with a large roll down projector screen for house movie nights and a small balcony. The bathroom has been recently renovated, includes a bath and ample storage. There’s a lovely kitchen with all the usual appliances including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer etc.

We’re looking for someone who is fun, very tidy and respectful of common spaces, who is up for evening chats but also values a bit of alone time too. The current housemates do a mixture of WFH and work from the office, and we’d ideally like someone who has a similar balance (i. e. isn’t WFH all the time). We’re not a party house but enjoy having the odd group of people over every now and then. The area is great for transport, there’s easy street parking available (subject to permits), and West Ken/Barons Court tube stations are both about a 6/7 min walk away.

You’d be sharing with Byron (35) and Tom (28), we both work in the film industry so have periods in the year of being very busy/out of the house before dawn/back in the evenings, and quieter periods where we are more home based. We’re a LGBT friendly household and it’s important that whoever joins is LGBT friendly too. We're a very chilled bunch and our only real ask is that we all keep the common areas tidy.

The rent for the room is £1240/month. Bills have recently been £230/month (including a fortnightly cleaner). Council Tax Band F

You’d be replacing someone on the tenancy, so would be subject to the usual agency checks etc. There is about 6 months left on the tenancy (ends Jan 25), but we're currently looking to renew at the end of that period.
