Description
I am renting a double room in a spacious period garden flat which I have recently renovated. It's a large 2 bedroom flat with great transport links (3 minutes walk from either West Kensington for the District Line or Baron's Court for District and Piccadilly).
There is a Sainsbury's local, a 24hr shop, dry cleaners and a great café for breakfasts and lunches all at the end of the road (the biggest Tesco in Central London is about 5 mins walk).
There's a selection of good pubs within 5-10 minutes walk.
There's a big garden with a BBQ, hot-tub and eating areas (there's also a small landscaped park 25m along the road if you want even more greenery).
It's easy to get onto the main A4 which is handy if you drive but you can't hear it. The only noise in the garden is from the birds and the odd cat or fox.
There's good speed broadband, a big TV and big comfy sofa's.
The room is a comfortable sized double with loads of storage. There are new built in wardrobes and a chest of drawers in addition to shelves/cubby holes and more hanging. If you've got larger items to store there's a separate cellar area and a big shed at the bottom of the garden.
You'd be living with me. I'm a 35yr old professional working in the City but I'd like to think I'm pretty relaxed and easy going. I'm sociable but not a crazy party person (I'm generally more about having friends over for dinner or BBQ's).
I don't smoke and there's no smoking inside but you're welcome to smoke in the garden.
It's £950 per month including bills (council tax/TV license/internet/gas/electric/ cleaner). That's equivalent to around £750-800 without which is good value for the area but I care more about having someone that I get on with.
