Luxury, large double room with en-suite

Hi all!

My name is Lindsay and I have a large double room with en-suite available from 1st August. I am open to short term lets, mon-Fri only and long term lets up to 1 year.

I’m from Scotland and love to keep fit and travel in my spare time. I’ve worked in Finance in London and Hong Kong over the last 15 years.

I am looking for a chilled, independent and friendly professional who doesn’t work too much from home. After 6 months travelling, I’ll be at home most days as I begin my new job search. I’m looking for someone who is wanting a quiet place to call home and relax, rather than someone who wants to party and bring lots of people over. I don’t have a cleaner but would look for a flatmate who would share these chores and keep the place today.

The flat itself is beautiful and very modern. It’s a period conversion with one flat above and below it. There are two double rooms and two bathrooms. The shared kitchen diner is very spacious and comfortable for 2 people. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine and is fully equipped with everything you’ll need.

The bedroom available for rent is a very spacious, bright double room with a large built in wardrobe. The room is fully furnished with a double bed (with bedding), chest of drawers, white shelf unit, mirror, bedside table, table lamp and waste bin. The bathroom is a small en-suite with a shower, sink cabinet and toilet. The pictures show some of my belongings, but the room will be fully emptied for your arrival!

I’m a 12 min walk to Tulse Hill and West Norwood Stations, both which get you into Victoria, Blackfriars and London Bridge in 16-20 mins. I’m a 5 min walk to the bus stop which takes you to Brixton in 10 mins. Balham is 2 stops on the train and only a 30 min walk. West Norwood high st has everything you need - shops, pubs, cinema, library, leisure centre.
