Large double room en-suite, whole flat to yourself

Hi, I’m Lindsay 😊 I have a large double room with en-suite available now in my modern period-conversion flat in West Norwood.

I’m moving to Surrey but leaving most of my belongings, so the flat will be fully furnished and equipped. You’ll have the place mostly to yourself, with access to both bathrooms and the kitchen/living area. I plan to come back occasionally to check the place / stay if I’m working late. But that won’t be very often.

Move-in date is flexible. I’m open to Monday–Friday let or full-time for the right person.

A bit about me: I’m originally from Scotland, enjoy keeping fit and travelling, and have worked in finance in London and Hong Kong for the past 15 years.

I’m looking for a chilled, clean and friendly professional female (30s–50s) who doesn’t work from home full-time, will look after the flat, and isn’t into parties. I really value a clean, tidy home.

I’m open to a couple sharing the double room but the rent & bills will increase to 2000 pcm including bills. The rent only for a couple is £1600 pcm.

The flat:
• Modern period conversion with one flat above and below
• Two double bedrooms, two bathrooms
• Spacious shared kitchen-diner, ideal for two people

The room:
• Very spacious, bright double bedroom
• Fully furnished (double bed, chest of drawers, large built-in wardrobe, bedside table, mirror, lamp, etc.)
• Small en-suite with shower, sink cabinet and toilet
• The room will be fully emptied before you move in (photos show some of my belongings)

Bills include water, gas & electricity, broadband, council tax and a fortnightly cleaner (non-negotiable). Bills will initially stay in my name, then be transferred over to you. The rent only for 1 person will be £1200

Location & transport:
West Norwood high street has great local amenities (shops, pubs, cinema, library, leisure centre).
• 10 mins walk to West Norwood (Southern Rail)
• 12 mins walk to Tulse Hill (Thameslink)
• 16–20 mins to Victoria, Blackfriars, London Bridge or King’s Cross
• 5 mins to buses for Brixton & Balham (15 mins)
• Streatham Hill is a 15-min walk away
