Hello to you, potential new housemate!
I am sadly leaving what has been our home for the last three years and I need to find the perfect replacement to take over my room.
The property is on 2 levels, first floor comprises the kitchen, living room, your room and your toilet/bathroom. They are not en-suite but just across the corridor and no one else uses them!
The second floor has 2 en-suite bedrooms, occupied by Asta and Ryan.
There is also a split garden we can access from the front door and street parking is free!
The house is a 5/6 min walk to West Norwood Station, 17 min to Tulse Hill (Thameslink direct train to the city) and there are 3 buses going straight to Brixton in 15/25 minutes depending on traffic.
West Norwood is a lovely residential neighbourhood with a community feel and quite a lot to offer: cinema, library, pubs, restaurants, board game bars and the occasional club nights. It also has a food festival first Sunday of the month and it is ideally located between Dulwich, Crystal Palace, Streatham and Brixton!
The room comes furnished with a bed and a wardrobe. You will probably need to get a couple of chest of drawers...
Asta works as an L&D Manager for a hospitality company and Ryan works in operations for a contemporary Art gallery.
In his free time, he cooks awesome food and goes for walks with his camera, whilst Asta is into reading, going for walks without a camera and meeting her friends!
We are looking for someone sociable and fun, easy going and open minded but as importantly, we need someone that is respectful of other people's space and is a considerate housemate. Even though we love living together, we very much have our own lives and social groups.
We are looking for a mature professional around our age, looking for a place to call home. If you are interested, please tell us a bit about yourself, what you do and like doing and maybe something that might make you stand out! We expect a lot of applications...
Lastly, rent is £725/month and the bills vary between £100 and £150/person a month depending of the season.
Deposit is £750.
Move in date is flexible between Jan 6 and 21st at the latest.
