Description
Hey all,
Our housemate is moving out in July so we’re looking for her replacement. It's a great house, lots of space, with a lovely garden. We have a double room available, and it is unfurnished.
There is a wardrobe which could be added, as well as a built in one, so plenty of storage.
The house is in West Norwood with the train station just 10 mins walk away and a bus stop less than 5 min walk, as well as Tulse Hill station about a 15 min walk. There’s direct trains to Victoria, London Bridge, Blackfriars, Farringdon which can get you there within an hour.
Rent: £587 p/m
Bills: avg. £170 p/m
Deposit: £580
A bit about who you'll be living with...
Anna: works in Domestic Abuse / Legal Aid policy. Does karate three to four times per week and her ideal day is basically doing yoga in the park, followed by some thrift shopping and a good cafe and book from a local place.
Matt: works for NHS blood service, enjoys yoga, food, films and a good series, spends most weekends exploring London with friends.
Rosa: Runs programmes for young people. Heavily involved in the community in West Norwood, local politics and activism. Loves her cat (Liza), theatre, lefty politics and puzzles!
Liza (the cat): Loves playing in the garden and watching flatmates cook dinner. Very friendly black cat and tidy flatmate.
Must be LGBTQ+ friendly🌈
We all like clean spaces, so you must be clean, tidy, friendly, and reliable.
The renting agency unfortunately do not accept zero hour contracts or fixed term as tenants must be in full time employment.
West Norwood is the closest high street with Co-Op, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Iceland, B&Q etc. There is a Lidl a 10 min bus ride away, and Streatham high street is a 10 min bus ride.
If you're interested drop me a message with some information about yourself, and don't hesitate to ask any questions if you need more information. 😊
