Large Double Room in Quiet Spot

I have a large double-room to let, available from the 1st November or later 2025.

The room is furnished, with double bed, brand new quality mattress (all natural fibres) desk and chair, chests of drawers, mirror and bedside cupboard. The room has very effective blackout curtains.

The house is spacious, end of terrace house set in a quiet road in West Norwood. There is a pet cat who is well looked after and generally well behaved.

There are two reception rooms, one with a modern piano, two toilets and one bathroom which would be shared. The house has a recently installed combi boiler which is serviced annually. Separate utility room with washing machine, and tumble drier.

Fast broadband & bills included in the rent.

About 5- 7minute walk from the station and buses.

Most people stay here for quite a while as they find the large house pleasant and quiet, friendly and easy to live in. I am looking for someone who is
happy to have a chat but equally happy in their own company and okay with helping keep it clean and tidy.

I am a live in landlady and work a hybrid week. I am looking for something similar. Working exclusively from home would not be suitable.

West Norwood is a lovely area with gastro pubs, restaurants and cafes just at the end of the road. Local theatre, dance hall, cinema, swimming pool and gym all 10 mins down the road.

West Norwood borders Dulwich, Crystal Palace, Herne Hill and Streatham. Dulwich Woods is a 10 minute cycle or 20 minute walk. Plenty of other walks to do!

West Norwood train station and bus garage are only minutes away down the end of the road with fast and easy access into and out of London: Victoria & London Bridge 20 mins, Brixton 20mins, Croydon 15mins, plus City/Kings X etc. Lots of Buses 24hrs: Clapham & Crystal Palace (322), Marylebone Street (2) Crystal Palace to Regent Street (3) and Euston, (68). West Dulwich Train Station 12 minutes to Victoria.
