We’re looking for a lodger for our 4-bed, 2-bathroom Victorian semi-detached family home in West Norwood (SE27).
THE ROOM & PRIVATE LODGER AREA
The bedroom on offer is a generous 4m x 3m (12 sqm) with high 2.7m ceilings, newly decorated, newly carpeted, and sound-proofed
It comes fully furnished with:
• Double bed
• Bedside table & lamp
• Desk, chair & desk lamp
• Hanging rail & drawers
• Mirror & shelving
The room is warm, comfortable, and cosy.
Bedding, duvets, and towels will be provided if needed.
You’ll be part of a self-contained lodger area on the upper split level at the front of the house, shared with one other lodger. This area has:
• A brand-new kitchenette with seating
• A modern bathroom mainly for the two lodgers, with bath & integrated shower, toilet, bathroom cabinet, heated floor, and heated towel rail
The entire lodger area has recently been refurbished with soundproofing, new carpets, and redecoration.
SHARED SPACES
You’ll also have access to:
- A large, open-plan fully fitted kitchen downstairs which also has a dining area and living room zone
- Utility room in the garden with washing machine and tumble dryer
THE HOUSEHOLD
We are Phil & Sarah, the homeowners, we’ve lived in this house for over 15 years are both freelance so are at home quite a lot. Our bedroom is downstairs, where we have our own bathroom.
We have two daughters (18 & 20) who are away and will return May–September 2026 for the University summer holidays. We also have two cats.
The other front bedroom is currently occupied by a 22-year-old female lodger interning in central London. She will be with us until May, when our daughters return.

• Free on-street parking and e-bike bike zone
• Secure bike storage in the front garden
• Close to local shops, cafés, and pubs
