is immediately available to rent, in a well maintained home in West Norwood. The room is newly decorated and fully furnished with a comfortable double bed, a chest of drawers, double wardrobe and desk/dressing table.
It has a lot of natural light with a pleasant view over looking a small well kept garden. the house is a 2 bed terrace with free parking on the road for car owners. You would be residing with 1 other person (live in landlady).
The area has a number of Local supermarkets, shops and cafes close by, as well as a modern cinema and library. There is also a Leisure centre with a swimming pool and gym within 2 mins walk. There are many other local activities to enjoy in this area, including the popular monthly 'Norwood Feast.'
The location is excellent for travel by train or bus.
Bus stops and the local train station are less than 5 mins walk away providing regular trains to Victoria and London Bridge Stations as well as local spots.
West Norwood is a nice location surrounded by parks and green spaces, if you enjoy cycling, walking or jogging.
The home environment is pretty relaxed and quite peaceful. However, I do have the occasional family dinner and get-together at home. I am a friendly sociable person that enjoys a chat and a laugh. However I appreciate that a balance of both social and solo time, works well for most of us.
It is essential that a prospective tenant should be a hygienic, clean and tidy person, that respects the home and is prepared to share in the general day to day cleanliness and upkeep of the house, by keeping essential and shared areas like kitchen, bathroom and toilet clean and tidy after use.
I am looking for a professional person that's secure in employment, working full time, and that can provide a reference. Someone that is respectful, pleasant and easy to live with. That does not work fully from home, although the occasional day is ok.
Please also note that this is a room rental in a small long established home and not a 50\50 joint share, therefore, there is no additional storage space in the house. Please also appreciate that although quite relaxed it would not be suitable if you are looking for a more fun, party house atmosphere,

Rent is £800 per month plus usage of usual utilities.
Broadband inc and standard bills.
There is a £500 deposit and 1 month rent to be paid in advance.
