Spacious & Sunny Double Room in West Norwood

Hello there!
We are an easy-going creative couple with a spacious double room that we rent out in our house, which comes with Wi-Fi, smart television, mini fridge, microwave, and kettle, plus full use of the kitchen and partial use of the living room. The south-facing, bright, airy room overlooks a small park and has the main access to an Edwardian-style bathroom with a freestanding bath and large shower as we have our own shower room on the 2nd floor.

The room would suit a creative professional. I write novels and my partner teaches film. References are required. The rent is £170 per week including all bills. A £600 deposit is required.

West Norwood is zone 3, with free parking. Trains run to Victoria, Clapham Junction and London Bridge. It is also easy to get to Kings Cross, Blackfriars, Luton and Wimbledon from Tulse Hill. We have a bus stop at the end of our street and plenty of buses that run due to the Bus Garage in West Norwood. The SL6 is a nonstop bus from West Norwood to Waterloo that goes onto Holborn and Russell Square; 2 goes to Oxford Circus. Others include the 468, 432, 196, 417, 249, 315. Most buses go to Brixton, which takes about 15 minutes.

West Norwood is a peaceful, leafy part of South London sandwiched between Dulwich and Crystal Palace. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by six parks, lots of independent shops, and branded stores, including Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Superdrug, trendy but friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs with outside space. We have a four screen Picturehouse cinema, leisure centre and home South London Theatre. On the first Sunday of every month, there is Norwood Feast, which includes street food on the church grounds, vintage, artisan, and garden market, as well as live entertainment.
