Hi everyone,
Sadly my flatmates are moving out so I am looking for a new flatmate (couples are welcome) to sign a new contract with the landlord starting on the 1st of September.
The flat is fully furnished, and the living room is spacious that you could put your work desk there. The living room faces the courtyard so it is very quiet that you could not hear the traffic, although the building sits on the main road. The kitchen has fully equipped appliances and plenty of spaces to cook. There's both a washing and drying machine in the kitchen as well. There are some storage spaces in the corridor to put your luggages etc. Your room will be an en-suite and there are spaces for you to put a working desk too. There is a residents only gym in the basement. The building has a lift and is secured with a code.
Situated between Limehouse and Westferry, you are just 7 minutes away from the DLR station and around 15 minutes away from Canary Wharf (Elizabeth and Jubilee line). The bus stop is right outside the building, which conveniently brings you to Liverpool Street, Trafalgar Square, Canning Town and more (Routes D3, 15, 115, 135, N15, N550, N551). There's a Lidl and Tesco express nearby - both 6 minutes walk from the property.
Water is included in the rent so you will need to split the electricity bills, wifi and council tax bills between us. This flat is currently in Band D. We will sign the contract directly with the landlord and no property agent will be involved. Your deposit will be secured via the Deposit Protection Scheme. The contract runs for a year, so only rental for 12 months or longer would be considered.
You will be sharing the flat with me. I am Daniel, a working professional in Canary Wharf and I go into the office 3 days per week. I am originally from Hong Kong but I have lived in London for 6 years. I enjoy cycling, badminton, running, watching movies and exploring the city during the weekends. I have a collection of board games if you like to play them as well. I am a sociable person but I also respect each other's privacy. This is not a party flat though occasional gatherings are allowed.
