The flat is a two bedroom, one bathroom with lots of storage. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and coffee machine. I love cooking and have a lot of equipment, pots etc.
My favourite part of the flat is the open plan kitchen/living room, the flat is on the 6th floor with some nice views over the canal and a spacious balcony perfect for a glass of wine in the evening.
The room is furnished (bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers). The desk in the pictures won't be here, you can bring your own or I can buy one before you move in.
The flat is 10min walk from westferry Station (DLR) and 20 mins from canary wharf and the elizabeth/jubilee line. Well stocked corner shops just downstairs, big lidl and small tesco a couple minutes away. This is a gated building and we also have a 24h concierge, which is very handy for deliveries.
Rent includes all bills, and I'm happy to discuss longer or shorter term arrangements and be flexible on move in dates for the right person.
A bit about me - I'm 31, have lived in the area since 2017, and have made lots of friends in the neighbourhood. I work from home most of the time (about 4 days a week), and I don't mind if you also work from home. I absolutely love cooking, especially for friends (and I've been cooking for my flatmates for years, if you like lasagna you're in the right place). Big rock n roll fan, love going to gigs/a good club night, but also happy to stay in with wine and a board game. I have friends who live in the building and nearby area and we have dinner/movie nights together often. I'm looking for someone who's sociable and would love a cooking buddy!
The flat has a parking spot that can be rented separately. I don't mind small pets and would consider a cat, but unfortunately the building doesn't allow dogs. Ideally I'm looking for a professional (self employed totally ok) but I'll consider mature students too.
