Us:
We are two young professional women looking for a third flatmate to rent a room in our flat from January 2025. There can be some flexibility with the move-in date, either earlier or later. One of us works as a technical coordinator for a housing developer and the other works in cultural insight for brands.
The atmosphere in the flat is sociable and friendly while respecting each other's privacy. We would be looking for someone who is also a young professional who shares a similar lifestyle. It’s an LGBTQIA+ friendly household.
Location:
The flat is situated between Pimlico tube statio (10 min walk), Victoria station (15 min walk), St James Park (15 min walk) and Westminster tube station (15 min walk). Trafalgar square/Covent garden/Leicester Square/The London Eye/Oxford Street and are all within 30 min walking distance. This location allows great access to the District/Victoria/Jubilee and Circle lines as well as regular bus services to all over London. Victoria is our closest high street where are supermarkets and gyms. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs to visit.
The flat:
The flat is fully furnished and equipped, including fridge freezer, washing machine/dryer and dishwasher. It is finished to a good spec and designed to a colourful modern style. We have a wide selection of kitchen equipment and cooking utensils in the flat. There is a small dining table in the kitchen as well as a larger table in the living room. The living room has a TV and a sofa bed that can be used for guests.
The room:
Includes a double bed, an extremely large wardrobe, a bed side table and a mirror, and it has a fireplace. There is one bathroom in the flat fitted with sink, mirror, heated towel rail/ radiator, shower and bath (plus an electric toilet).
The flat is located within a 6 storey courtyard with secure entrance to the courtyard and the staircase.
The cost:
Rent is currently £873 per month plus roughly £85 on bills. We are renting through a local estate agents and there would be a deposit to pay. We have found that they are responsive to our queries. Please note the agent will ask for proof of employment and a reference from a previous let.
