Description
The flat is older and spacious compared to normal central London modern spaces with sun shining in from all angles.
Bedroom is a double (but fits a super king) and is currently semi-furnished with a large built-in closet, your own balcony door and a view of the London Eye. Room is currently semi furnished (comfy double bed and 2 side drawers, a desk and chair, table for vanity or other use).
*Shared living room that has all around glass view of archbishops park and south London with a lot of natural sun light from all angles. Its not used often at the moment accept to eat or read as we don't watch live TV, but option is there if you want to.
* Council tax band is C and all other standard bills (Electric, gas, internet, sky, etc.,) are not included in the rent- but averages is about £100)
The shared living room and kitchen are big spaces. Shared bathroom/shower with the toilet separate.- advantage is the water pressure allows for what I call a Power shower-in a deep and lengthy bathtub.
PLUS's
* you have your own fridge so no need to share
* Washing machine in flat
* Westminster Bridge/Waterloo/Waterloo East/Lambeth North Stations are all under a 5minute walk.
* Residents Parking Permit for street parking is available at a cost from Lambeth Council- (depending on vehicle approx £200 a year) and that reduces your congestion charge to £2 daily
* Many different gym choices within a 5 minute walk- 24hrs-Gym Group, P45, Hydrox, and a free community out door gym across from the building in the park, with a tennis court and an astro field with a library attached.
* As your heart of it all, transportation costs are low as you can literally walk anywhere in 15 mins.
* NO SMOKING anywhere in flat or on balcony EVER as roommate is allergic..
* Your roomie is a 35+ filipino female, who works full-time as a research nurse who works long shifts at the hospital across the road.
She doesn't drink, or smoke, lives a healthy lifestyle and enjoys her down time baking amazing goodies as she is an awesome baker and will let you be her guinea pig sampler if you want any! Downtime is spent chilling in her room with Netflix, catching up on sleep, or visiting partner and travelling and goes to church on Sunday mornings, so not into having constant parties at the flat or continuous multiple visitors. Very friendly and funny and is fluent in English.
* very Gay friendly building with multicultural tenants- so must be acceptant of all cultures/genders etc.
* Looking for a female with similar culture and work habits to make living together smoother.
in the past, roomies have tried to use this as a meeting house because it was so central so all their friends wanted to pre-party here or stay over after a night out weekly-
so FYI: This is not that kind of place, this is a home and so must be treated as such-respectful living is what is expected- out of town, visitors from abroad and fam obviously are welcome, they just can't stay forever, including no move in partners.
*Must be employed or have provable savings if a student.
Move in date negotiable as flat can be ready from Sept 1st possibly
*First, Last and deposit required.
