Double Room In Shepherd's Bush

Hello!

I have a current vacancy in my lovely three-person flat in Shepherd's Bush/ White City. The room is available from the middle of October.


THE ROOM:

The smaller of the two 1st floor bedrooms, overlooking the neighbour's downstairs garden. The room comes furnished with a bed, desk, built-in wardrobe and additional storage. There's also some additional furnishings available from previous roommate, which could be left subject to discussion.

There's a shared (with one other) bathroom on the first floor, along with a second communal/work area on the second floor which leads out onto the balcony. The main kitchen/living area has all the usual mod cons, and access to a very small back garden on the ground level- which is in need of a project manager!


The room is £850pm + bills, which are usually around £150pm but obviously unpredictable with gas prices... and the state of the world.

THE FLAT
I work in freelance film production as an assistant director. along with the long hours that come with that. The hours are long so you may not see much of me during the week when I'm working, but between jobs you'll be sick of the sight of me.

I'm keen to live with someone who is friendly, tidy and wants to make the flat their home. I would prefer somebody who WORKS MAJORITY OUTSIDE THE FLAT due to additional energy costs. The flat has always had a gender mix and I'm keen to maintain that. We're looking for someone who is sociable and wants to hang out, but who also has their own busy social life outside the flat. A high tolerance for silly humour and skillful dishwasher stacking is a bonus too.

I'm trying to adopt living habits which are more sustainable and mindful of the environment. There's no hard and fast 'house rules', but I'd like to live with people who share a willingness to get on board with this ethos.

POST NOTE
As the room won't be available until mid October, I'm not in a rush for people to view the room. I just want to get a sense of how much interest there is. I also have a second, larger room which might be available if there are friends looking to rent two rooms together. Let me know in your message if this interests you.
