The first thing to say is that you will have the flat to yourself most of the time as the other roommate only uses her room occasionally as she lives outside of London and only stays in the flat when she needs to for work.

The flat is large, light and clean. Based on the top floor of a four-storey block, it is quiet, recently redecorated and well-equipped with a large kitchen and a large living room (with a balcony), plus a recently refurbished bathroom.

The room has a good-sized built-in wardrobe, plus storage above. The bed is a divan with drawers underneath. The furniture in the flat can be moved around as required and a bookcase and chest of drawers can be moved to the room if needed. A large flat-screen tv can also be provided if you want one in the room.

The flat has a washing machine, tumble drier, dehumidifier, a hallway cupboard for coat storage, as well as fibre broadband. The boiler was only replaced about a year ago and the flat heats up really quickly when the heating is on.

The neighbourhood is safe, quiet and friendly, neighbours are nice and the block has a large shared garden with a playground and basketball/football court. The flat is within 10 minutes walk of Aldgate, Aldgate East and Shadwell stations, as well a large range of convenience stores (some of which are 24 hours) and eateries. Tower Bridge and Whitechapel and Liverpool Street stations are 15-20 minutes away.
