Double Bedroom near Aldgate East/Whitechapel

Hi - our flatmate is moving out on 19th July, so we are looking for a new flatmate to take one of the upstairs rooms in this former boys' school near Aldgate East/Whitechapel.

We're looking for someone who likes to live in a nice and clean place, is easy-going, kind and sometimes likes to hang out for a chat over a glass of wine or some food - you know, share a home.

The Flat:
The flat is located at the back of the house, so it is quiet and private. It stretches over two floors (first and second floor). There is a shared courtyard through which the flat is accessed, and it contains a private patio of ours. We have tried to make this feel as much like a garden as possible and love to have barbecues there. Inside, the flat is spacious with 96 sqm spread across three bedrooms, a nicely sized kitchen with plenty of storage, and two bathrooms - one downstairs with a shower and one upstairs with a bathtub. Additionally, there are two built-in storage spaces, one located underneath the staircase and one upstairs in the corridor.

The Bedroom (second floor):
This double bedroom features a beautiful high ceiling with an original open beam structure and has two windows, one overlooking the patio area and a skylight. It has a built-in wardrobe, and the bed frame has four big drawers for loads of storage space.

Location:
We are located in the triangle between Aldgate East, Whitechapel, and Shadwell and are very well-connected to the rest of London with Overground, DLR, District, Circle, Hammersmith & City, and Elizabeth Line all within a 10-15 minute walk. It's a 15-minute walk to Spitalfields Market.

About Us:
Ilaria: I am 29 and work as a freelancer teaching children and also in the creative space across music and events. I love fashion, music and reading.

Svenja: I am 34 years old and work in product innovation. In my free time, I enjoy going to exhibitions, staying active with yoga and aerial sports, and sometimes going to concerts or the occasional rave.
