Description
Hello future flattie! I’m looking for a legend to take this cosy ensuite room, in our central-east London flat in Whitechapel / Aldgate.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
💰PRICES:
£833 + bills
-----------------------------------------------------------------
📍LOCATION:
Honestly BANGING and super easy to get everywhere.
We are 5 mins walk from the curry-mecca of Brick Lane, and all the cool bars and restaurants in Spitalfields. 🍷
You can also walk to the City, the Tower of London, Shoreditch, Old Street, and Colombia Flower market in 20 mins!
For everyday shopping, both Whitechapel and Aldgate highstreets are around the corner, with a Tesco and a Puregym a few mins away, as well as a Big Sainsos within 8 mins walk (important cus it’s cheaper than the wee ones).
-----------------------------------------------------------------
🚇TRANSPORT:
We also have a glorious number of tube lines at our fingertips. We are:
✅ 7 mins walk from Aldgate East (Zone 1 – District, Hammersmith & City lines)
✅ 7 mins walk from Whitechapel (Zone 2 – Lizzy line, Overground, District, Hammersmith & City lines)
✅ 10 mins walk from Aldgate (Zone 1 – Circle, Metropolitan lines)
✅ 17 mins walk from Liverpool Street (Zone 1 - National Rail Services + Central, Northern line + others I have forgotten)
Because we are so central, it's also great for cycling 🚴♀️ which can save you SO MUCH 💰each month!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
🏠 THE FLAT
We’ve got a nice open-plan living area with all the mod cons - dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, Netflix, coffee machine.
While the room probs isn’t big enough to fit a desk, we have a dining table can be used to work from if you’re WFH.
We also have a mahooosive outside deck which has been incredible this summer for chilling and hosting! ☀️
There's a concierge for the block so it feels super safe, as well as a bike storage area if you don't want to put your bike in the garden.
The building itself is also pretty cool – for all you history nerds out there, it’s a converted Victorian ‘doss house’ that has hosted a range of odd characters over its history, including Stalin and George Orwell 😂, which is absolute peak smoking area chat by all accounts.

🕰️MOVE-IN DATE:
August 1st

👯♀️YOU / US
I’m 27 and work as Graphic Designer. I love to stay active whether it’s hitting up the gym or cycling everywhere I can in London. I’m also a little bit mad for music and I’m always up for a gig or a cheeky rave on the weekend.
I’m also big on travelling when I can, climbing mountains, skiing or heading down the coast for a surf trip.
You’ll also be living with Ros - a 33 year old journalist who’s big on the travelling / backpacking hype, and tends to spend her weekends hitting up a rave and getting stuck into everything London has to offer!
Like me she’s also into activities that drain her bank account (skiing & scuba diving), pretending she’s not at cooking, and DIYing the out of everything.
We are looking for someone aged 25-35, is sociable, ready to bring ‘chill vibes’, but equally knows how to unload the dishwasher.
We both currently work full time in the office and would ideally prefer someone that isn’t working from home all the time.
If that sounds up your street, flick me a message telling me a bit about yourself, so I get a sense of your energy and vibe.
Open to both girls and guys, but no couples or pets unfortunately.
