1 Room in Cosy 2 Bed Flat near Liverpool Street

I’m renting a double room in a 2 bed flat that I’m renting in Whitechapel.

The flat is furnished, however minimally decorated at the moment as the previous flatmate had been there for 3 years and has taken most of the stuff with them! I will be slowly adding more furniture and bits - you’re welcome to bring your own style if you like !

A bit about myself, I’m a surveyor and I work in the City 2 days a weeks, working from home the rest. I’m always happy for a chat, but also happy to leave my potential flatmate their own personal space if they should want it.

External Amenities - the flat is serviced by 2 lifts, of which we have direct access to one from the entrance, and a contained gated bin area and bike shed to the rear of the property.

Internal Amenities - the flat has a dishwasher, washing machine and spacious fridge, more than enough for 2 people and quite a bit of storage space for food stuffs and pots. There is a shared living room which is spacious, light and airy with a large couch and armchair.

The flat is extremely well connected;
6 mins walk to Whitechapel Station to the north which is serviced by the Elizabeth Line, Hammersmith and City Line, and Circle Line. Liverpool Street is one stop and 3 mins away. To the south is Shadwell which is also 6 mins away and is serviced by the Overground and DLR. Bank station is one station and 3 mins away.

The area is quiet and safe and the flat is secured, accessed by an entry fob to the main entrance and separate keys to the flat.

I’m not particularly a party person so generally wouldn’t want to accommodate that, but more than happy to have your friends round.

The bills will be split between us, at an extra cost of circa £100 per month, depending on the usage of the gas / electricity. This also includes Hyperoptic WiFi which has speeds of 1GBPS which has already been installed.
