Description
Hi lovely people!
I’m Charlotte and I’m looking for a friendly flatmate to share my lovely two-bedroom flat, just a 5-minute walk from Whitechapel Station.
It’s perfectly located in the heart of East London —25min to Liverpool Street, 20min to Brick Lane, and around 30min to Victoria Park - while still being tucked away on a quiet residential street.
🛋️ About the Flat:
• 2-bedroom flat on the first floor of a small residential house.
• Shared garden/outdoor area with the other residents.
• Separate living room, bathroom with bathtub and toilet, and a fully equipped kitchen featuring two fridges — perfect for meal preppers or anyone who loves extra storage space.
🛏️ The Bedroom:
• Quite spacious, double bedroom size. Comes with a bed (everything else in the pictures belongs to my current flatmate and will be going with her) She might be happy to leave the wardrobe and sell it to the next tenant — open to discussion with her!
• A small wardrobe from the living room can be moved into the room if you need it (though the door doesn’t close properly—so bringing your own furniture might be best)
• The window faces the garden, so the room is quiet and peaceful
💸 Rent & Bills:
• Rent: £975/month
• Bills (electricity, water, council tax, etc.): around £120–£130/month
• Minimum contract: 1 year, usually renewable annually • Council Tax Band: B
• You’ll need to go through standard agency checks (references, income, credit)
About Me:
I'm Charlotte, 30, originally from France, I live here with my adorable little cat, so it’s essential that you’re animal-friendly (and not allergic). French speakers are always welcome, but open to anyone chill and respectful!
I’m sociable and love to keep the flat positive and good-vibes only. I'm into art, wellness, and I go to the gym regularly. Sometimes I get home around 9/9:30pm and will still want to quickly use the kitchen or chill in the living room, so ideally you’re someone with a similar rhythm and not expecting total silence at 8pm 😉
This is not a party flat, but I'm also not super strict—occasional gatherings or a dinner/movie night with friends is totally cool. I just prefer someone who doesn’t throw parties every weekend. I’d love to find someone around my age who’s friendly, respectful, and up for the occasional shared meal or glass of wine, but who also values their own space.
You might be a great fit if you’re:
- A full-time worker (!!! no student !!!)
- Late 20s to early 30s, chill, respectful, clean and considerate, but not a neat freak — I like to keep the flat nice, but I’m not obsessed with everything being perfectly tidy all the time.
- If you are into good vibes, maybe artistic, into fitness or wellness.
- If you’re okay with a cat and happy to live in a shared, lived-in home.
If this sounds like a match, drop me a message! I’d love to show you around and see if we click.
