A double room will soon be available in our lovely 3-bedroom first-floor duplex flat in Whitechapel (Stepney side), ideally located just off Mile End Road.
The flat is perfectly situated with excellent transport links:
• Whitechapel station – 10 mins walk
• Stepney Green – 8 mins walk
This duplex flat is on the 1st floor of the block and has a calm, homely feel. There is an open plan kitchen/dining/living room area, a bathroom and an extra toilet downstairs. The available room comes furnished with a king-size double bed, a spacious double wardrobe, and a chest of drawers (additional furniture in the pictures is my own and will be moving out with me). Move-in is available from April 10th, as that is when I have paid rent until, but I am open to negotiating a move-in period any time after March 23rd.
You’ll be right in the heart of East London, just a short walk from Shoreditch, Brick Lane and the City of London, with amazing access to cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops and everything the area has to offer.
We’re looking for a kind, considerate and tidy flatmate to join our home. You’ll be living with one male and two females, all between 25-32.
You will be taking my place on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement, i. e. the tenancy is signed as a household rather than individual agreements for each person. Total household rent is £2700 per month, and your share is:
Rent: £700 per month
Deposit: £1034
Bills: Not included; approx. £120 per month incl. water, gas, electricity, council tax (band C) and internet (1 Gbps Community Fibre)
The property is managed by a property management agency who have been very good over the last 2.5 years, and you will need to pass their referencing checks. Minimum income required is £27k/year, or if below this, you will need a guarantor earning at least £32k/year.
