Big Double Room in Whitechapel/Shadwell

Hey! I'm looking for a female flatmate to take over my lovely central room in early October as I'm leaving London. You would be living with my two sisters who are both very outgoing and friendly. Helena is a barista in Bethnal Green (she'll give you 50% off!) and Cicely sells clothes online (if you're nice she might give you 10% off 😉).

🛌 The room itself is a large furnished double with a bit of built in storage. It has a big window that overlooks Commercial Road and you can also see Tower Bridge and the Shard from it 🌃

🏠 We share a kitchen and bathroom which are both on the smaller side but perfectly manageable for 3 girls. There is no sitting room but the bedroom is big enough for a sofa and TV etc. For the location and size of the room this is the compromise but it's worth it!

📍 We're on the 4th floor of a building on Commercial Road which is between Whitechapel and Shadwell. On street level is a 24 hour McDonald's (very handy after nights out 😂). Opposite is a Tesco Express and there are plenty of restaurants and other supermarkets nearby.

🚇 Location is 💯. Shadwell (DLR & Windrush) and Whitechapel (District, Circle, H&C, Elizabeth, Windrush lines) are both between 5-10 mins walk away. There are a couple of buses that stop on our road but better options can be found at Whitechapel (still v close!).

🌳 There is no outdoor space with the flat but we have discovered a balcony on a lower floor which seems to be open to residents so we have used that occasionally 🤷🏻‍♀️. We're very close to Shadwell Basin and the river which are lovely for walks, and Weavers Fields and Victoria Park are also within easy reach.

As sisters we've naturally adopted a very easy-going, open, supportive and relaxed atmosphere in the house. We're ideally looking for someone who would want to be friends rather than just flatmates 😊

Another plus is the landlords are lovely and the agents are very prompt and efficient ✅
