Large and bright double bedroom to rent in Whitechapel, part of a beautiful, and very well kept, old Corporation of London mansion block.
I am very sad to leave this amazing flat and my flatmates but I just got a job opportunity abroad, and this is why the room is available ASAP.
The room is gorgeous, filled with sun from morning till evening, with two large and high windows. It is half furnished, with a double bed, a beautiful victorian wooden desk, good storage, and loads of solid wooden shelves for books.
The flat itself has large windows, high ceilings, parquet flooring throughout, a small balcony off the kitchen, a huge roof terrace and a comfortable, light filled sitting room.
Every two weeks we have cleaners come round so the place is always in good shape, but we do our bit day to day to.
Whitechapel is a developing area, with cool bars and restaurants opening in the neighbourhood, and is busy during the day with a thriving food market.
It's 5 minutes walking distance from Bricklane, and very quick and easy to get up to Shoreditch Hight Street, 5 min, Bethnal green, Dalston via the London Overground or local buses.
Whitechapel station is 5 min walk, it will take you 15 min to get central, King's Cross Station is 10 min away with Hammersmith & City line.
There is a massive Sainsbury's just down the road.
The atmosphere is relaxed and easy, you would share with two guys in their 20's, Giuseppe is a fashion photographer, Marc is a classical music conductor.
