The second floor has the available bedroom and larger bathroom. The flatis furnished. The living room faces west, and gets plenty of light in the afternoon. Location:
The flat is located on a quiet street near a beautiful large park, perfect for strolls and sip of coffee from the cafe on the hill. It is a 10-15 min walk from both Willesden Green and Dollis Hill tube stations (Jubilee line) and 15 min walk to a large Sainsbury's. There are also 2 bus stops right around the corner for the 226 bus.
Current Tenant:
I am a 28yr old queer woman from North Carolina in the States. I moved to London with my 2 cats for work in 2022. I work as a regulatory specialist in central but wfh 3x a week. I have 2 cats, both very sweet boys (Toulouse and Jacquimo) who mean the world to me, so any potential flatmate must also enjoy the company of cats and be willing to cat-sit for me if I am away. I keep the flat as tidy as possible, clean frequently, and keep their litter box in my bedroom to minimize smell/mess. I am looking for someone who is also conscious of keeping spaces tidy and helping clean.
Besides my cats, I love wine, cooking, true-crime/ spooky podcasts, and hosting. I prefer nights in, eating deliveroo and watching kdramas/netflix, but also enjoy an evening out with friends, trying new restaurants, cocktail bars, or cafes. I am in a long-distance relationship, so I am often on the phone with my girlfriend in the evenings, and she will likely visit a couple times a year. I also have friends or family come to stay a few times a year, but I will always give advance warning. Any flatmate is also welcome to have overnight visitors as long as there is advance notice and communication. I am hoping to find someone who wants to hang out and explore with me, cook together sometimes, and chat about work over a glass of wine or tea. I would love to have a flatmate I can be friends with, not just cohabitate in awkward silence. That said, I also understand the importance of personal time and the need for quiet. It is also important that we share responsibilities in keeping the shared spaces clean and doing other chores like taking out the trash.
Please don’t hesitate to send any questions about the flat or myself! I am happy to share more pictures or a video tour. I am also happy to arrange for meet-ups or in-person viewing.
