Quick notes:
-Full furnishment will be complete from 11/09/24
-Sorry the photos aren't of great quality. My lack of photography skills combined with crap vision don't make for great photos.
General:
-Flat within a Victorian-style mansion block. Four other flats in
block.
-2nd floor. Decently spaced. All kitchen utensils available.
-Double glazed windows and full insulation.
-Entire flat repainted recently (May)
-Gyms everywhere it seems, shops within 5 minute walk.
-On a very quiet, low pollution road.
-My dog sheds a lot. I have two rovo cleaners who work very hard to deal with it, but I also get a cleaner in at least every two weeks to give them some help and assist in cleaning the flat as a whole.
Me:
-I have very fluctuating vision due to eye/brain issues and have a 'guide' dog. He is very affectionate. He will love you if you like him.
-Except for university, I have lived in the area my entire life.
-I am obligated to keep things very tidy and organised so that I know where things are etc
-I love running. Have a dedicated small room for my study and gym stuff (which you are welcome to borrow), and my hobby stuff, mainly involving bad guitar playing (definitely apply if you have musical skills!)Your room:
-Biggest room in the property. Unfurnished as of now but plans are to provide a good-quality double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, desk, chair, samenities such as lamps. very large room space and you have complete autonomy over what you wish to do with the room (within reason!).
-Have a fish tank.
-No issues whatsoever with plumbing, electricals, boiler, shower/bath, etc.
-Feel free to bring any personal items, even in animal form. Just need to know in advance :)
-I play guitar occasionally. Feel free to tell me to shut up :)
-You have access to my famed alcohol collection.
I would say this, but it is a lovely room in a really lovely area of London. There is a very low crime rate, a large and friendly park half a mile away (where I do Parkrun...), Willesden Green station less than ten minute walk away, several bus routes from five minute walk away. Easy two-stop change to West Hampstead for Overground and Thameslink. You can see Wembley from the window, what more could you want?
-Absolutely fine with friends coming over. I like any company I can get :)
You:
-Preferably like dogs and are happy to interact with Branston.
-Are relaxed about things and enjoy a couple of tea breaks. Or wine in the evening if it's been a crappy day.
-Just friendly and we can be open with any issues that we have with each other, and avoid any passive agression!
-I want a friend (who pays my mortgage), if you just want the room and to not interact with me, this isn't the right place for you.
