Large Double Room - Willesden Green (Zone 2)

Hello!

I'm looking for a new lodger to share my home in a quiet mansion block in Willesden Green. It's just two of us in the flat, so it feels much calmer than a typical house share, and I'm looking for someone who'd enjoy living in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Your room

The room is a large, fully furnished double with high ceilings, plentiful storage and lovely Victorian features, including the original fireplace and mantelpiece. There is good quality furniture and lots of floor space.
You are welcome to bring additional furniture or personal touches .

And you can see Wembley Stadium from the window!

The flat is part of a quiet mansion block with four other flats. It has two bedrooms, a study, bathroom, kitchen with dining/sitting area, and access to a shared garden.

The kitchen has plenty of worktop space and includes all the usual appliances, including a washing machine, fridge/freezer and air fryer. The boiler is modern and heats the flat quickly. ,

I have a very nice cleaner who comes twice a week.

About me:

I have recently come out from working in accountancy with the Civil Service. I will be starting a Master's in PPE at Birkbeck this October.

I live with Branston, my gentle, rather dopey guide dog. He won't jump up, lick you or try to steal your food.

I'm equally happy if you'd like the occasional coffee, meal or drink together, or if you'd rather keep yourself to yourself.

I also have fish. Lots of fish. They keep breeding.

About you

I'm open to both professionals and students.

More than anything, I'm looking for someone who is considerate, reliable, reasonably tidy, and treats the flat well.

You are welcome to have friends or family visit or stay occasionally; I'd simply appreciate knowing in advance.
If you have a pet, feel free to mention it. Branston has previously lived happily with both cats and other dogs.

I have a very good relationship with the other flats. We usually do something sociable every couple of weeks, and this summer we've spent quite a few evenings having drinks together in the garden.
The area

The flat is on a very quiet residential road with barely any cars.

Both Willesden Green and Dollis Hill Underground stations are within walking distance, giving quick access into central London via the Jubilee line. West Hampstead is also easily reached for the Overground and Thameslink.
There are several supermarkets, cafés, gyms and other local amenities nearby, as well as Gladstone Park, a lovely big, well-maintained park about ten minute walk away.

£1,025 per month, including all bills.
