Description
Hi everyone.
I have a double room available in a lovely period flat in Willesden Green.
I’m looking for a friendly housemate, happy to live with either a student or working professionals/couples. The rent would be £1975 for a single person and £1175 for a couple.
The Room
The room is a really good size size and comes furnished with a king-sized bed, large wardrobe, and chest of draws. The brand-new mattress is still in the packet. Very happy to discuss customising the space to make it feel like home and buying a desk if you sometimes work/study from home.
The Flat
I bought the flat earlier this year and have been busy renovating it. Everything’s just been painted, and the bathroom is brand new. It has a lovely garden with a hammock and outdoor space for entertaining (had 14 people in it at one point). I’m hoping to really get into gardening soon and you’d be welcome to give me a hand if you’re green-fingered.
There is plenty of roadside parking next to the flat which you can get a permit for fairly easily (with the M1 and A1M close by)
The Area
The flat is located a minute walk from Willesden High Road; it’s diverse, welcoming, and full of great Portuguese/Brazilian and Middle Eastern spots. It has loads of great coffee shops/restaurants and desert places.
Transport: 5 min walk to Dollis Hill tube (zone 3) and 10 mins to Willesden Green (zone 2) on the Jubilee Line where you rarely have to wait more than 3 minutes for a train. I’ve gone from leaving the flat to walking in Regents Park in 20 minutes. There's a bus stop at the end of the road with 6 bus routes (52, 302, 98 260, 460 and 266), spreading out across North West London and quick connections to the Bakerloo Line and Mildmay Line
Me
I’m a 28-year-old Civil Servant. I work in the office roughly 3 days a week. I’m involved in a local running club and it’s given me a massive sense of community. I’m also a part-time student and that combination means I’m fairly busy, so you’d have a reasonable amount of time to yourself in the flat.
I’m looking for someone who is friendly and who we’d both feel comfortable sharing a space, perhaps doing the occasional activity. I would prefer to have someone who wouldn’t work from home 5 days a week, but 2/3 days would not be a problem.
If you're keen, don't hesitate to drop me a Whatsapp or email! Looking forward to hearing from you.
