Description
Newly refurbished double bedroom in a lovely flat in Willesden Green - 12 minutes to Bond Street on the Jubilee Line from the top of the road, 18 to Westminster, 20 to Waterloo, 30 to Canary Wharf etc.
This is a Monday to Friday let, 2-4 nights a week at £50pn including your own shower room/bathroom. There is a family kitchen for heating/eating breakfast/dinner. Best suited to someone who wants a comfortable space to grab a bite to eat and to work in private and sleep after a long day rather than someone seeking an evening sofa-buddy.
The wi-fi is fast and reliable, a bigger desk is on the way, and the room is cleaned with new bedlinen/towels every week.
I'm a former journalist turned writer working mainly from home and am often out in the week. The inevitable red flag is a rehomed a Bengal cat who is mainly outdoors but returns to his cat-bed or the sofa to sleep. He can be noisy if you're the first one to wake in the morning as he associates upright people with food! He is technically hypo-allergenic but if you have any allergies, this probably won't work for you.
Willesden Green is a residential area and extremely quiet. There are gyms locally and lots of reasonably priced restaurants/cafes/shops and mini-supermarkets on Walm Lane. One of the Chasers runs the quiz at Angie's on a Wednesday, but it's otherwise not the best example of a pub!
Please let me know if you have any questions.
