Description
Looking for a flatmate to join our cozy flat :) Reposting for one room so this may look familiar!
About the flat:
The flat is a converted house split over two floors with two bathrooms shared between the three bedrooms. The room is on the first floor and you would mainly be sharing a bathroom with one other girl (Frances!)
There are bus stops around the corner that take you to the underground, overground, Victoria, Holborn, White City, and Golders Green. Otherwise, it's a 10-12 minute walk to the Jubilee line, or a 25 minute walk to the Mildmay line. It’s about 27 mins to Bond Street and 36 mins to London Bridge door to door. Close to Wembley Park too, so great for concerts! The big Sainsburys is less than a 10 min walk away. Also a potential option for both driveway and on-street parking. The landlords are a responsive couple and very easy to contact if needed.
Bills + council tax are around £160 pcm.
About the room:
This room is on the lower floor of our flat and shares the second bathroom (with bath/shower). The room has a double bed and comes with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside tables. The current flatmate is likely taking the desks but as you can see in the pics, this room is HUGE so lots of potential to make your own. Rent is £666.70 pcm and the deposit will be the same amount. A separate holding deposit of £100 will be needed while references are checked and will count towards the first month’s rent. Move-in will be start of September.
About us:
Frances (writing in third person) is 25, works in advertising but originally wanted to be an actress/art gallery curator/diplomat/journalist 🥲 Third culture kid with an accent that always prompts the “where are you from?” question. Outside of work, she goes to the gym, runs occasionally, and tries to avoid doomscrolling. She also enjoys exploring London parks, long conversations, singing, cooking, and baking.
Alianna is 24, works as a Software Engineer, loves photography, fashion/styling. She enjoys cooking, trying out new cafes/food spots and does a bit of events management on the side that you might wanna come along with to make new friends and network! ☕️🍒🪩 She will also be joining the flat in September!
About you:
We are both working professionals with hybrid schedules - preferably looking for working professionals as well for council tax purposes. Should also go without saying but ideally, you would be tidy and considerate of shared spaces.
It's a SpareRoom house, so people naturally come and go, but one of our favourite things has been the atmosphere. This flat has been more of a home than just a flat so hopefully you would also be looking for that. We value our own space and routines but also enjoy spending time together cooking, watching a show, having a drink etc.
