Description

We are looking for a person to sublet my room whilst I go travelling for 6 weeks.
Ideally I am looking for someone who is happy to sublet the room from August 19th through to October 2nd whilst I go travelling. In total the the rent for the 6 weeks would be £655 not including bills . So about £850 including bills (WiFi , water, council tax , energy) which is a bargain for London. A sublet agreement would be need be signed and payment would be taken when handing over the flat keys.

This is not a party flat and everyone has their own lives and different schedules. All flatmates work.

BILLS
Broadband is £6.37 per month, Power is between 40 and £60 per month in cold months, Water is ~£11 per month, Council Tax is ~£70 .. We don't own a tv so this is why don't pay TV licence as we are so busy we don't have time to watch tv. This is something you'd have to pay for solely if you wanted the tv.

There is also a large lounge room, a kitchen, and a bathroom (plus additional toilet) which we all share.

The flat is dated but perfectly clean and functional. Our landlord keeps the rent low which is a godsend.

The flat is <10 min walk to Willesden Green station on the Jubilee line which takes you to many key areas of London and is well-served by bus routes as well.

US:
The remaining flatmates are a (male) violinist , software engineer who is also subletting whilst other flatmate is also travelling and a (female) PhD science student.

YOU:
are friendly, reliable in terms of paying bills and rent and like doing your own thing but are also happy to chat and hang out. You're also clean and tidy (doing your fare share ) and happy to pitch into the fortnightly chore roster to keep the common areas clean.

THE FLAT:
has a large shared living room, a sunny kitchen with all white goods including a dishwasher, washing machine, bathroom (with a bath!) and an additional separate toilet. There is also fibre Virgin broadband. The flat is on the top two floors of a semi-detached house, and there are one-two flights of stairs up to your room.

This sublet is ideal for someone who is looking for interim accommodation prior to starting study or someone who is in London for a short time looking for some reasonably priced accommodation. Students are welcome but they would have to pay their share of council tax. (£100 for the whole stay)

The area:
is quiet and pleasant, with little traffic passing by. Willesden Green has a few pubs and restaurants, with Cricklewood a short 5/10 min walk away with further options. The local transport links also make it very easy to get further afield. We are walking distance to an Iceland and large Sainsbury's supermarket.

We are currently doing in person viewings only as we physically prospective tenants to see the flat.

Transport:

Bus stop - 3 mins

Jubilee Line - Willesden Green station <10 mins

National Rail - Cricklewood Station <15 mins

Overground - Brondesbury Station <20 mins

Thameslink- Cricklewood <15 mins walk
