The property is a mid-terrace Victorian house in College Park (7 mins walk from Willesden Junction station). It has been recently renovated to a very high standard, with striking mid-century interiors.
The room has an original Art Deco double bed. There is a built in wardrobe and shelves plus a chest of drawers. There is a little extra storage available elsewhere in the house but this room probably suits someone who doesn’t have loads of stuff.
The property has a very large well equipped kitchen. Wi-Fi, various subscriptions, a weekly cleaner and utility bills are included.
There is a small south facing walled garden, which is a real sun trap. It backs onto railway lines so this property is probably not for the very noise sensitive - the trains don’t bother me at all now.
I’ve been living with two lodgers very happily for a year or so now. One of them is planning to move in with his parter at the end of February. I’m looking for someone who would fit the household dynamic to take his room. I have no gender preference and LGBTQ applicants are very welcome.
I’m an osteopath and Pilates instructor with a keen interest in art, design and food. The lodger who is staying on works in a creative and business role for a luxury fashion brand. He also has a keen interest in culinary and visual arts. We often go to exhibitions together, cook for each other or watch movies together. There’s a very easy going and friendly atmosphere in the house.
