Lodger required for double room in NW10

Newly decorated room with garden view in a quiet area of Harlesden. Shared bathroom and kitchen, and use of the living room for much of the year when I am abroad. The rent includes all utility bills and the council tax.

The flat is just a short walk from the town centre, where apart from the large supermarkets, you will find smaller shops offering a wide selection of relatively cheap food including fish, meat and vegetables. Harlesden is home to many different cultures, and its cafes, restaurants and takeaways cater to a variety of different tastes.

The flat is five minutes on foot from Willesden Junction, which is on the boundary of zones 2/3. The Overground offers a fast connection to Euston Station and also has trains which go to Stratford, Clapham Junction and Richmond. On the Bakerloo Line, it takes less than 25 mins to reach Oxford Circus.

I am a retired language teacher, and spend a good deal of time at home these days. I am a friendly, easy-going sort of person, and although I am offering a room and not a flatshare, I am hoping to find someone I can get on well with and with whom I can socialise occasionally.

At the moment, I spend up to six months a year outside the UK, so I am particularly keen to find someone who I feel I can trust to look after things while I am away.
