ABOUT US
We are Italian/Brazilian and work as fitness coaches (Bruno is also a soft tissue therapist) either online from home or outside the house. We're homebodies, socialise outside the house, love animals, films and fitness, are into healthy living, reading, cooking (we're veg) and baking bread (bagels are a speciality!)
ABOUT THE FLAT + ROOM
The flat is situated minutes from Garfield Park, a 2-minute walk to bus stops to Wimbledon (District line, four stops) and Colliers Wood station (Northern line, six stops), and a 5-minute walk to Haydons Road train station which takes you to Waterloo in 30 minutes.
Nearby is a local Sainsbury's and a pub, a 24-hour Tesco express ten minutes away, a pharmacy, another park, and two off-licenses.
The room is a bright and clean double bedroom ensuite and is available from 1st August (**photos are from one year ago, however we replaced the mattress 10 months ago and furniture hasn't changed).
The room is on the upper floor of our first floor flat and furnished with a double bed and mattress, two bedside tables with lamps, a floor lamp, a desk and chair, and its own fitted wardrobe.
Next to it is its own bathroom with shower and window, and a studio room which Bruno and I use as an office.
Downstairs on the first floor is the living room/gym our bedroom and bathroom and the shared kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, juicer, blender, food processor, kettle and toaster.
**I've set up a micro gym in the living room during lockdown where I work from online in the mornings. If you like working out from home, you're welcome to use our equipment, too!
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a professional, responsible, considerate and tidy housemate who enjoys a quiet and clean environment and is respectful of other people's space so definitely not a party person.
We've been living here for eight years and are keen on stability and the good relationship we have with our landlord and neighbours.
We also share weekly cleaning duties of the common areas (if you use them) but you're welcome to hire a cleaner too if that's your preference/within your budget.
Dogs are welcome and a big bonus!
