Cheap double room in the heart of Wimbledon

Hi guys! I’m leaving this flat after 7(!) happy years to buy my own place. I’ve been really happy here and I’m hoping the next tenant will be too!

The room is in a very quirky (and arguably slightly dated?) flat on Wimbledon high street, 4 minutes away from large Morrisons and Sainsbury’s and Wimbledon station (District Line, National Rail, Thames-link and Croydon Tram Link) and 9 minutes from South Wimbledon (Northern Line). Also are your doorstep are multiple gyms, bars, restaurants, Wimbledon theatre and Odeon/Curzon cinemas. There really is everything you need here.

The room is an absolute steal for only £533 a calendar month. And the bills are usually around £80-120 maximum season depending. It enjoys a large, cosy living room and versatile outside space (pictured) and is spaced over two floors of a three storey building.

You’ll be joining Kieran (tenant for 3+ years) and Aidan (tenant for c. 3 months). Kieran is an ex-hospitality worker now enrolled in college to study for electrician qualifications. Aidan is primarily an actor, and often spends long periods on the road performing.

Move in date is presently October 9th, but there’s scope to be earlier (maybe even end of August) depending on when my sale completes. Flexibility here is appreciated.

You’ll also be picking up the remainder of my contract 12 month contract (currently 9 months) and will be invited to renew at the end of that period (May 2025) - this also means rent will remain set for that period too.

Face to face viewings HEAVILY advised - this place needs to be seen before signing on to live here!
