Furnished double bedroom available in a bright and spacious two bedroom, two bathroom 1st floor flat with balcony and shared garden.
Flatmate: I'm a friendly, open-minded and easy going public health professional currently working for the NHS as well as setting up a small health charity. In my free time I love to see friends, enjoy music, gigs and festivals, swimming, walking and exploring as well as forever trying a random selection of new hobbies and events! I'm currently spending part of my time in Bristol so you would have the flat to yourself plenty of the time too!
Bedroom: The double bedroom is south facing and overlooks the shared garden so is very light and peaceful. There is a comfy double bed with storage space beneath, large double wardrobe with built in drawers and bedside table.
Bathroom: The modern, fitted main bathroom has a bath with shower over and lots of storage space. I have my own separate bathroom.
Kitchen: There is a spacious, well equipped kitchen with large American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and direct access to the balcony.
Living room: The living area is large and bright, with a dining table, two comfy sofas, TV and patio doors opening onto the balcony.
Outdoor space: There is a sunny, south facing balcony and access to a well kept shared garden for the block.
Location: The flat is excellently situated in a lovely peaceful location within walking distance of Wimbledon Common, Wimbledon village and Raynes Park and Wimbledon town centres.
Transport: Great transport links: 8-12min walk from Wimbledon, Raynes Park and Wimbledon Chase stations giving easy access to the SWR overground, Southern, Thameslink and District Line; getting you into central in 17 mins. Also located right on the 57, 131 and N87 bus routes, with buses every few minutes and approximately 10-15min bus journey/10min cycle to South Wimbledon tube station (Northern line).
Bike/car: There is space to store a bike in a garage and a residential car parking permit can be purchased from Merton Council if required (approx. £15/month).
Access: There are approximately 12 steps between the block entrance door and the flat door and two internal doors. There is no step free access, once inside the flat it is all one level.
Rent: Monthly rent includes all bills: council tax (Band E) and Commons levy, water, gas and electricity, super fast broadband (bills based on single occupancy and subject to fair use) and a regular cleaner. The room is rented on a rolling monthly basis and available immediately. I’m flexible on length of stay and open to short lets too, happy to discuss.
