We have the main double bedroom available in our friendly house-share. It shares a large, neat bathroom with a bath and separate shower with good water pressure.
The house is currently occupied by three professionals, aged 28, 33 and 42. Our current housemate's work requirements have changed and she has to move to Europe and so needs to move out. It may be possible to arrange a slightly earlier move in date.
The house is a peaceful environment and all housemates are tidy, friendly and respectful of each other’s space and quiet times. We also enjoy socialising together and have friends over from time to time. We keep our garden well maintained and frequently have barbecues in the summer.
The house has four bedrooms, three on the first floor and one loft conversion ensuite bedroom on the second floor. Our large downstairs living area includes a quiet garden with a wooden deck, a very spacious kitchen with all appliances and shared cutlery and crockery, an inside area for hanging your laundry, a guest loo, small laundry room, and a dining area and lounge with TV.
The house is situated in the heart of leafy Wimbledon, just off the high street. Wimbledon Station for National rail, District line and Tram is an 8min walk away, and South Wimbledon Station for the Northern line is a 10min walk away.
Bills are shared equally and amount to an average of £140 pm per person. This includes a cleaner that comes fortnightly. We are in Council Tax Band E.
The room is currently furnished with a double bed, new L-shaped desk and chair, a full-size mirror cabinet and a bedside table. These belong to the current housemate but she is hoping to sell them onto the new housemate for a nominal price. The room also has a five door built-in cupboard.
